In need of updated family photos, the Olson family reached out about capturing a handful of images of their family of 3. While discussing what they had dreamed of for their 30 minute session, they spoke of a beautiful desert landscape with views of saguaros in the distance.
We decided we would meet at the entrance of South Mountain at Scorpion Gulch at sunrise, where we would start by shooting at the rock structure. Then after a few shots there, we'd jumped in their vehicle and start part 2 of our 30 minute adventure where we found a flat space off the road where they could be completely comfortable and uniquely themselves together.
Maryel had an eye for style when dressing her family for this desert vibe. She put her boys in a subtle blue button down, and she wore a vibrant dress for the pop of color! Altogether they flowed perfectly in this natural setting.
Jaykub's baseball career has really grown over the years, but he also recently started playing guitar, talk about a talented kid! We were able to capture these interests with some small props they had brought along. Now when they look back at these photos, they will be taken back to this age and reminisce what he was into and smile about these special moments they had together.
